oOh!media New Zealand has announced further expansion of its Street Furniture network, introducing 14 new bus shelter sites to the Taranaki region, supported by a mix of Street Live panels and Street Classic advertising panels.
With this latest addition oOh!’s national Street Furniture network now spans eight regions and 13 cities across NZ, delivering advertising reach into almost 300 suburbs.
The Taranaki network alone is set to reach more than 119,000 Kiwis every month, generating more than 10 million audience contacts over a 4-week period (source: Calibre).
The introduction of these new sites is a fantastic opportunity offering access to a region known for its vibrant culture enabling advertisers to engage with a growing and diverse audience in Taranaki, either supplementing existing channels utilised in the region or extending Out of Home (OOH) campaign activity to include Taranaki.
Nick Vile, General Manager of oOh!media NZ says the new Taranaki sites offer an exciting opportunity for advertisers to reach a broader audience in a thriving regional market.
“With our expanded network, we are enhancing the visibility of both national and local businesses while supporting the community through new public infrastructure.
“Further to this we know from our agency clients and advertising partners that there is an increasing demand to deliver audiences nationally beyond just main mets and deliver this new audience in a way that makes it easy to transact. Our continued expansion into new regions delivers on this premise.”
New Plymouth District Council Chief Executive Gareth Green is excited by the new venture which sees the shelters, funded via the advertising model, generating revenue for the council and reducing burden on its ratepayers.
“We’ve also been able to increase the number of shelters throughout the district for public transport users by repurposing some existing shelters to locations currently without one.”
The new Taranaki Street Furniture network is live and available for advertisers now.
