oOh!media Unlocks New Street Audience Reach in Dunedin

Expansion of Locky Dock partnership strengthens oOh!’s national street footprint and delivers new audience opportunities in the lower South Island.

oOh!media New Zealand has expanded its street footprint into Dunedin, unlocking new opportunities for advertisers to connect with audiences across one of Aotearoa’s most vibrant regional centres.

The addition of Dunedin further strengthens oOh!’s connected national street and retail network, which reaches 87% of New Zealanders each month across 17 regions. For advertisers, the expansion provides greater flexibility to deliver nationally consistent campaigns while connecting with audiences in communities across the country.

The expansion sees advertising panels added to Locky Dock installations through oOh!’s existing partnership with Locky Dock, extending the company’s premium street offering into a new region in the lower South Island. The Dunedin installation also marks the 100th Locky Dock site across New Zealand.

Building on oOh!’s established retail presence at Meridian Mall, the new street assets strengthen its presence across the city. Home to more than 21,000 University of Otago students and a population of more than 130,000, Dunedin provides access to a young and highly mobile audience of residents, students, commuters and visitors.

The rollout reflects oOh!’s continued investment in regional New Zealand and infrastructure that delivers value for both advertisers and local communities. Integrated into active transport infrastructure already used by the community, the sites provide advertisers with access to audiences in highly visible, contextual environments.

Kelly Harvey, Head of New Zealand at oOh!media, said the expansion reinforces the value of combining premium audience opportunities with infrastructure that benefits local communities.

“It’s fantastic to be working alongside Locky Dock as they celebrate the milestone of 100 sites across New Zealand.

Extending our partnership into Dunedin allows us to complement our established retail presence with premium street assets in the heart of the city, giving advertisers another way to connect with audiences in the region.

As advertisers continue to look for effective ways to reach audiences beyond the major metropolitan centres, developments like this help us deliver greater national reach while supporting infrastructure that enhances public spaces and provides genuine value to local communities.”
